We have one of the LOFT studio (with sitting, kitchen, and bathroom / toilet below and the bed with another TV & air-cond/heater up-stair), and it was the best accommodation of our trip. The room is perfectly clean, the kitchen is well equipped with all sort of drinks (sparkling water, soft drink, juice, gin, whisky, vodka, wine...coffee, tea...even a traveller adapter and Panadol!!! - all at a price). The choice of movies (NEW and old) is fantastic - it will takes at least 10 days to finish with 24 hours continuous watching! In the bathroom, all towers are doubles (like for 4 persons, though it's a room for 2). At the ground floor are the lounge, bar, restaurant, and cafe (the breakfast was nice! & the manager a very easy going friendly person) and a big under-covered courtyard with lots of tables & chairs - there is also an art gallery. The location of the hotel is PERFECT for me, as my trip to Hobart is to try some nice foods around and take some photos. Also there is complementary valet parking for our car and was there ready in the morning when we check out - THANK YOU, GUYS!

We really enjoyed our stay the the HJ firstly because the staff really were wonderful! Very professional, thoughtful and warm, they really looked after us well. The hotel itself was delightfully decorated with a fantastic array of art in a fantastic restoration of a historic building, WE enjoyed the comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. The bar downstairs played live jazz and the cocktails were great. We ate at the in-house Peacock and Jones and it was the best meal of our whole trip and our NZ waitress was outstanding! We would like to try the other restaurants linked to the hotel next time. The location was really perfect and we had a room view of the docks which meant we spent time happily watching the goings on of this working port. The valet parking was brilliant and really added to our stay. We have already recommended the hotel to friends and family.

Great hotel! Centrally located right on the pier in Hobart. Definitely the exact location you'd want to be as a visitor to the city!! Within walking / seeing distance of most of the best restaurant options in the city. Quiet and beautiful prospect on the water. Hotel decor is interesting and tasteful. Rooms are well-designed, substantially large, and well-equipped. The bathrooms in the regular hotel rooms are particularly big and beautiful. (The ones in the studios are more regular but still nice.) All rooms, including studios and hotel rooms have a mini fridge, teapot, Nespresso machine + pods, sink set-up, and kitchenette countertop space, which was handy. Hotel staff is fantastic and SUPER accommodating. Laundry service is efficient and excellent. In-hotel food options are quite good, too. Would highly recommend staying here.

We love the Henry Jones Hotel! It is quintessentially Hobartian/Taswegian! It is located right on the harbour and within walking distance of Salamanca and Brooke Street Pier where you get the MONA ferry as well as close to top class restaurants on Hobart's picturesque waterfront. It is a stylish and 'arty' hotel. Original art works line the corridors and it is well worth doing a gallery tour of them, they are wonderful. It is a small boutique hotel and the staff cannot do enough for you. The rooms are stylish, spacious and comfortable. The hotel's Long Bar do wonderful cocktails too! Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is located in a historic precinct, tastefully reimagined out of an old convict built sandstone jam factory.

The character of establishment. So much interesting history and wonderful local art. The staff were inspired! Nothing was too much trouble. They were unruffled in very busy times especially the bar staff on Saturday night when a member had called in sick. Great jazz trio that night too. There is a terrific cafe in the atrium again with good staff. The location was perfect with lots of eating places nearby. My conference venue was just across the road. It was an easy walk to Salamanca, The MoNA ferry and town centre. The hotel was very quiet! There was a post wedding event happening in the atrium area that was inaudible in our room.
