My recent two-night stay at The Henry Jones Art Hotel in Hobart was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff set a new standard for hospitality—warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience. Their service is among the best in the world, making every interaction feel personal and effortless. The hotel itself is a masterpiece. Every corner is thoughtfully curated, seamlessly blending history with contemporary art. The walls tell stories through an ever-evolving collection of artwork, making the space feel more like an immersive gallery than just a place to stay. Bobbie’s meticulous curation ensures that every piece contributes to the hotel’s unique atmosphere. Beyond the art, the rooms are beautifully designed, offering a perfect mix of comfort and character. The blend of heritage architecture with modern luxuries creates an ambiance that is both inspiring and relaxing. The location is also ideal—right on the waterfront, within walking distance of some of Hobart’s best dining and cultural spots. It had a quirkiness about it that took if beyond being another comfortable hotel. The staff were all characters in their own right and added to the flavour of the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs the whole experience was one of comfort.

Fantastic location right on the harbour front. Walking distance to everything. Views from our room were amazing. Very helpful staff, nothing was a bother. Guest laundry (self serve) was a welcome surprise. The Landscape restaurant was fantastic, we loved it.

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel. Rooms were huge and the decor 👩‍🍳 💋. There were 3 couples in our group and each of our rooms was unique but all large, comfortable and beautiful with original artworks everywhere, and for sale, so you are literally staying in an art gallery. The hotel has kept a great deal of its former jam factory heritage and modernised just enough to be authentic but modern. The facilities are superb with a cute bar and hotel restaurant downstairs and another great casual restaurant within the complex for coffee, breakfast and lunch called Jampatch. Gorgeous views out to harbour and perfectly positioned near great restaurants, Salamanca Markets and city centre. I honestly could not fault a thing and loved every minute of our stay in this hotel and Hobart in general, which is also gorgeous.

Beautiful atmospheric hotel with great rooms. Great location, walking distance to most things you'd want to see in Hobart.
